A COMPETITION FOR THE BEST VIDEO ON THE TOPIC OF PEACEFUL ATOM HAS STARTED
The organizers of the contest: Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants LLP, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Goals and objectives of the contest:
• popularization of Kazakhstan's science and experience in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy;
• involvement of young people in the search for solutions to ensure the energy security of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• expansion of knowledge among the population of Kazakhstan about the possibilities of peaceful atom and the world experience of its use;
• supporting the idea of building a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan;
• development of critical thinking and creative approach to solving issues of national importance among Kazakhstani students.
Participants of the competition: students and teachers of Kazakhstani universities.
Facebook Instagram, Youtube, TikTok or Facebook social networks from November 10 to December 11, 2023 are considered works independently produced by the participants of the competition in accordance with the goals and objectives of the competition, and published in the social networks Instagram, Youtube, TikTok or Facebook.
Announcement of the results and awarding of the winners - December 20, 2023.
Conditions:
• The video can be shot in any genre at the discretion of the contestant (informational material, interview, report, video clip, music, animation or humorous video, etc.), lasting from 20 seconds to 3 minutes;
• The title of the video must contain the hashtag #Beybitom;
• The number of videos from 1 participant is unlimited;
• The contestant's account must be open before summing up the results of the contest;
• The contestant must be subscribed to the accounts of the KPP on Instagram @knppkz and Telegram https://t.me/knpp_kz;
• The winners of the competition will be determined by the competition commission according to the following criteria – content, originality, creativity, audience interest.
• According to the results of the competition, the winners will receive cash (in the amount of 50 000 to 200 000 tenge) and incentive (branded products of KAES) prizes;
• Any works participating in the competition can be subsequently used by KAES LLP in information and explanatory work with the population.
