The company was established in 2014 in accordance with the plan of priority measures for the construction of nuclear power plants in the Republic of Kazakhstan (approved by the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04.05.2014 No. 60-r) to ensure the development of pre-project (feasibility study) and design (design and estimate) documentation construction of nuclear power plants, as well as organization of work on the construction of nuclear power plants in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The staff of KNPP LLP is staffed by specialists with specialized education and experience in nuclear and traditional power industry. Currently, the company is preparing scientifically based proposals on the timing, construction site and capacity of nuclear power plants, taking into account the approved Energy Balance of the country until 2035.
Activities of KNPP LLP:
- Activities in the field of architecture for nuclear industry and nuclear power facilities; - Activities in the field of engineering surveys and provision of technical advice in this field for nuclear industry and nuclear power facilities; - Research and experimental developments in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy; - Ensuring the readiness of electric power to carry the load, regulation and redundancy of electric power;
