Kazakhstan Discusses Prospects for Applying International Experience in Nuclear Power with France’s Framatome
The management of Kazakhstan Nuclear Power Plants LLP and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy held a working meeting with representatives of the French company Framatome to discuss prospects for cooperation in the implementation of nuclear power plant projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Framatome, a subsidiary of EDF, is a global leader in the nuclear energy sector, specializing in the design and deployment of equipment, as well as instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for nuclear power plant units.
The French side presented its expertise in the design, manufacturing, and integration of equipment for large-scale nuclear power plants. Particular attention was paid to advanced instrumentation and control systems that ensure a high level of safety and operational efficiency.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing the dialogue and agreed to further elaborate cooperation, taking into account Kazakhstan’s strategic objectives for the development of its nuclear energy sector.
